About Nicholas Pilch

Nicholas Pilch is a Visual Information Specialist at Defense Logistics Agency, Installation Management, Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. Within that capacity he writes articles, reviews and edits articles for quality control and takes photographs and videos for DLA, acts as a liaison between the base and off-base newspaper editors, escorts media, answers media queries, builds complex visual elements to support the agency's mission and assists with communications plans for important and sensitive incidents which deal directly with the installation and its surrounding communities. Mr. Pilch is a passionate communicator that specializes in digital content for historical documentation, storytelling, social media, and evidence collection for various investigations.

Mr. Pilch is an Air Force veteran, serving on active duty from 2004 to 2013. After separating in 2013, he went back to school to complete his Bachelor of Arts, then his Master of Arts. Prior to his current position, he was a photographer at Travis Air Force Base, California for the 60th Air Mobility Wing, Air Mobility Command.
